Freestyle – Free Motion Machine Quilting
Details: This is a two day class, each day lasting 6 hours. Days do not need to be consecutive, but no more than three weeks apart. Maximum 12 students.
Description: This intermediate free motion machine quilting class is the next step after basic meandering. We will cover 8 borders, 8 fills, and the basics of a freehand, feathered wreath. I use a non-marking approach and focus on individuality and personal creativity. If you have some prior experience with free motion quilting you will get more out of this class. You will leave this class with the tools to return home and begin quilting some of those pieced tops that have been waiting to get finished.

Fabulous Freehand Florals
Details: This is a one day class, lasting 6 hours. Maximum 12 students.
Description: In this intermediate to advanced free motion machine quilting class we will focus on free hand flowers and leaves. If you have some experience with machine quilting and would like to learn how to add floral designs to add to your palette, this one is for you! We will cover the basics of free motion quilting flowers, and experiment with the designs to create flowers to match your particular quilts. Be fearless, and come ready to discover your own artistic abilities.

Fabulous Freehand Feathers
Details: This is a one day class, lasting 6 hours. Maximum 12 students.
Description: In this advanced free motion machine quilting class we will learn how to add different styles of feathers to your quilts with little or no marking. You will learn the basics of traditional freehand feathers, as well as discover some modern versions of the old classic. We will cover how, and when to add feathers to a quilt, and experiment with the designs that we have learned to customize the motifs to fit into your particular quilts. You will get the most from this class if you already have some experience with free motion quilting.

Fabulous Freehand Holidays & Seasons
Details: This is a one day class, lasting 6 hours. Maximum 12 students.
Description: In this intermediate to advanced free motion machine quilting class you will learn a variety of motifs, borders, and fills to add to your holiday and seasonal quilts. Come and learn new designs to add to your freehand quilting repertoire. We will discuss when and where these special motifs are best used, and will experiment with the designs to fit your particular quilts. You will get more out of this class if you have some prior experience with free motion quilting.

Easy Machine Trapunto
Details: This is a one day class, lasting 6 hours. Maximum 12 students. The shop hosting the class will be required to carry Superior Threads Brand “Vanish Extra”, and “The Bottom Line”.
Description: Learn the technique to make a beautiful trapunto pillow cover, the easy way. Once you learn the trick to unravel the mystery of trapunto, you will be amazed at the possibilities. The requirements for this class are that you already have some experience free-motion machine quilting, and you must be fearless! You will make the front of the 18”X18” pillow case in class and finish the back at home with the simple instructions given in class. Once completed, and the pillow form are added, these class projects make wonderful gifts or decorations for your own home.
